ROB JETT– Director

Rob has been the Director for Rancho Bernardo High School’s Marching Auxiliary and Winter Guard programs for 11 years. Rob Jett is highly regarded for his superior design and training and has taught College and High School programs from the San Jose Raiders Open and World guards such as the Santa Clara Vanguards, Live Oak High and Etiwanda High Schools. Rob's prior marching experience is with Suncoast Sound and Magic of Orlando.

An influential member of the color guard community, Rob is currently a member of WGI Board of Directors where he serves as the Treasurer. Rob Jett also works with Ayala High School, Academy Winter Guard from Arizona and Fantasia from Riverside. Rob Jett is a native of Nashville, Tennessee.

ROBBY JACOBSON – Assistant Director

Robby is in his 11th year as the Assistant Director of the RBHS Color Guard. He as marched in the past with the RCC Marching Auxiliary and was a member of the award winning Fantasia Winter Guard from Riverside, CA.

He is a current member of the WGASC Advisory Committee.

Robby also lends his expertise to The 13 Time Drum Corp Champion Concord Blue Devils, Mystikal Drum & Bugle Corps, Mission Viejo High School and the WGI Independent World Champion Fantasia Winter Guard.

MICHELE WHALLEY - Technician

Michele was a 4 year member of the RBHS Color Guard, she is now in her 4th year as a  member of the color guard staff.  Michele has previously marched with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, Esperanza, and Fantasia. She is an experienced performer with training in Jazz, Hip Hop , Modern Dance, and is skilled in spinning sabre, rifle, and flag. She also appeared in the premier of Blast! 2~ Shockwave.

She currently is working with the Lealta winter guard and Poway High School. Michele also runs the after school Enrichment program for the local Elementary and Middle schools.

SWAGA DEB - Technician

Swaga has been working with the RBHS Color Guard for the past 6 years. After graduating from South San Francisco high school, Swaga went on to earn his BA from Cal State Hayward.

Swaga marched with the Blue Devils in 1997 and 1998. Along with his tremendous help at Rancho Bernardo, he also assists Homestead HS, Woodbridge HS, Belmont HS, La Canada HS and Solution Performance. Swaga is also a SCSBOA Judge.

ALLAN DEKKO - Technician

Allan is in his 11th year with the RBHS Color Guard. In addition to the many high school color guard programs Mr. Dekko has been involved with, he served on the WGI Board of Directors from 1998 - 1999. In 2000 Allan began work with the Santa Clara Vanguard Color Guard as equipment technician. In 2003 Allan became the Tour Manager, and in 2006 was promoted to Assistant Director of the drum corps. Mr. Dekko was the rifle trainer and choreographer for Madonna during her 2004 Re-Invention World Tour.

He is currently assisting with Ayala High School, the Academy Drum & Bulge Corps color guard and the Arizona State University Marching Band and is the Tour Manager for the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. Allan currently resides in Las Vegas, NV.
